Estonia vs Germany Prediction & Betting tips
Germany will compete against small Estonia on Sunday evening. The visitors are of course supposed to grab the three points in this unequal battle.
Estonia:
Estonia was of course not a favorite to reach the final round in advance of the qualifying campaign. In the first six games it once again became apparent that Estonia has a particularly moderate team. Germany and the Netherlands are of course far too strong for the Balten, but against the other teams in the group, Northern Ireland and Belarus, Estonia could do something if it went well.
This has been disappointing in practice. Only on Thursday did the first success come. Belarus was held in Minsk on a 0-0 draw – it was the first point scored in the group for the Estonians. If you look at the selection, it is also not a big mystery why the team is an extra in this group. In terms of quality, it is not very good what the Estonians can send into the field. Perhaps the talents in the selection can learn from competitions like this, to do better in the future.
Germany:
Germany experienced a setback last month. The home game against the Netherlands was lost by Die Mannschaft, after they had taken the lead. Germany did not play great in that game, which again tempered the cautious optimistic mood. Due to the late goals, Germany was not allowed to finish second in the group, nor was it the group leader in the draw for next year’s European Championship. In retrospect, the team in Hamburg could have tried better to pull a tie – the 2-2 tie.
In Germany the same troubles play as in the Netherlands, with players with dual nationality. The last player to face this choice was midfielder Suat Serdar (Schalke 04). He has now made his choice for Germany, to the disappointment of the Turkish Football Association – Serdar also has Turkish nationality. However, the midfielder will probably not be in the starting line-up on Sunday. Defender Niklas Stark has dropped out injured for this game.
