Hertha Berlin vs Freiburg Prediction & Betting tips
Jürgen Klinsmann is still waiting for his first victory as coach of Hertha BSC. Perhaps it will be there on Saturday, when SC Freiburg comes to visit in Berlin.
Hertha BSC:
Hertha BSC is experiencing a season in which the moments of joy are scarce so far. The trainer change that was implemented a few weeks ago has not yet achieved the desired result. Jürgen Klinsmann lost his first game, against Borussia Dortmund (1-2). Last week, Hertha seemed on its way to a victory, but Eintracht Frankfurt came alongside in the final stages (2-2). Given the game image and the odds ratio, Die Alte Dame was not entitled to the three points either.
The situation on the ranking list is still fragile for Hertha. The team is in the relegation zone, with only twelve points earned. City fellow FC Union Berlin has, very surprisingly, after fourteen games seven points more than Hertha. We have to go back to the beginning of October for the last league victory of the blue and whites. The program until the winter break is also particularly demanding. There are still duels against Bayer Leverkusen (Wednesday, out) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (Saturday, at home) on the program.
SC Freiburg:
SC Freiburg is performing far beyond expectations this season. The South Germans are already at 25 points. There are as many as Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen, and Die Breisgauer are even above Bayern Munich in the rankings. Last week Freiburg won again, in the home match against VfL Wolfsburg. Freiburg did not play a great game, and since Wolfsburg did not create much, the game seemed to end in a draw. A beautiful free kick by Jonathan Schmid, however, resulted in the 1-0 victory in the final phase.
“We want to play a good game in Berlin,” said trainer Christian Streich. “And if we play well, we can also win away games,” the experienced trainer said. Freiburg already managed three times this season to grab the full booty outside the home. Vincenzo Grifo is back after a suspension and could get a base place. Streich also has few reasons to shift his attitude a lot. Mark Flekken is in the goal again, as first keeper Alexander Schwolow cannot be used.
