Betis vs Levante Prediction & Betting tips
On Friday evening, Real Betis and Levante will kick off the 28th round in LaLiga. All ingredients for an attractive duel are there. Both teams are not only each other’s direct competitors in the battle for European football, but also play very nice football.
Real Betis:
Eleven more finals, Real Betis considers the final phase of LaLiga. The Andalusians are eager to enter Europe and with sixth place are also on course for a starting ticket for the Europa League. Last weekend, however, a 1-0 defeat against city rivals Sevilla came to a heavy end to a series of four victories in a row.
It is of course important for Real Betis to forget that painful defeat as soon as possible. Trainer Manuel Pellegrini therefore decided to start group therapy this week, with the aim of boosting Andalusian morality again. Real Betis is doing fine, although the green and white have not really convinced me yet. The four victories over Villarreal, Getafe, Cadiz and Alaves, respectively, were all with only one goal difference, and the team mainly relies on the qualities of Sergio Canales and Nabil Fekir. Attacker Borja Iglesias is also in shape with five goals in his last five matches.
Levante:
Levante is also working on a strong season. The second club from Valencia recently grabbed a hair close to a final place in the Copa del Rey, and also performs in LaLiga with a ninth place and only two defeats in the last eleven rounds above expectations. Even European football is still possible, although De Kikkers will have to have a strong final sprint in store.
Levante is therefore a dangerous opponent who often comes out surprisingly well outdoors. For example, the team of trainer Paco Lopez already managed to win at Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid earlier this season. The self-confidence of the red-blue ones is currently sky high, as last weekend they managed to win the city derby against arch-rival Valencia 1-0 thanks to an early goal by goaltender Roger Marti. “We have to keep our feet firmly on the ground even after this victory, although I’m sure we made our fans happy,” said Lopez, who has his team put some really nice football on the mat. Only in 2013 and 2014 did Levante have this season after 27 rounds (35).
