Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Italy Prediction & Betting tips
Italy is already sure of a starting ticket for the European Championship of 2020. On Friday, a match against Bosnia-Herzegovina is scheduled.
Bosnia:
Bosnia and Herzegovina is not really performing well in this qualification group. After Italy, the Bosnians qualitatively have the strongest selection in this group. On the field this only came out occasionally in the past eight games. With a point sub-total of ten, the team of national coach Robert Prosinecki does not have a good starting position for a place among the first two in this group. Finland has five more points.
That the team is not in good shape is due to the poor performance in the away matches. All four duels played so far in this group were lost by the Southeast Europeans. In June of this year Bosnia started the first match against Italy well. Edin Dzeko led his country in Turin, but two Italian hits made it 2-1. Dzeko was missing the previous international match due to an injury, but the captain can now be re-deployed.
Italy:
Italy has not lost a point after eight matches in this qualifying group. Now the opponents are certainly not world class, but it remains a strong performance of national coach Roberto Mancini and his players. All this is achieved with a team under construction. After the surprisingly missed World Cup final round in Russia last year, the Italians had to make a new start. This seems to have been successful, although it has not been disappointing in some group matches of the past period.
In the past year and a half Mancini gave the necessary new players the chance to prove themselves for the Squadra Azzurra. Three debutants have also been called up for the upcoming two international matches. The current selection contains no less than thirteen players with fewer than ten international matches. Marco Verratti, who decided the first game against Bosnia with a late goal, is not an option for Mancini due to an injury. He is by no means the only absentee among the Italians.
