Bournemouth vs Burnley Prediction & Betting tips
The match between AFC Bournemouth and Burnley is scheduled at the Vitality Stadium in South West England on Saturday afternoon. Bournemouth has ended up in a kind of “no man’s land” while Burnley is still fighting degradation in the Premier League.
AFC Bournemouth:
For AFC Bournemouth it is a matter of quietly playing the season. The Cherries are 12th in England and can no longer relegate. Finishing in the left-hand row is also virtually impossible for Bournemouth and so the season is already over for The Cherries. The men of Eddie Howe undoubtedly have no problem with that: the objective of Bournemouth was not to degrade and that objective was met. The end of the competitions can be used by Bournemouth to showcase a number of players, such as Nathan Aké and David Brooks – they must make a lot of money for Bournemouth next summer.
At Bournemouth they gained a lot of points in the first months of the season. That’s a good thing too, because otherwise The Cherries would not have been so comfortable with it. In the last games, it is a lot less successful at Bournemouth, which won only one of the last eight Premier League games. Two of those eight games ended in a draw and the rest were lost. For example, Bournemouth lost 2-0 at Leicester City last weekend and the defeat means that The Cherries can definitely put a spot in the left-hand row out of their heads.
Burnley:
Burnley is still in relegation need and can use every point well. It is not that it is five to twelve at The Clarets, but the team of Sean Dyche is not yet completely certain of retention. Although the lead over Cardiff City is five points, they would not have to worry much more about Burnley having to play six more games with Burnley. Reality, on the other hand, is that this Burnley lost four of the last five league matches and occasionally performs very mixedly.
The only time Burnley won the last five games was last weekend. Season surprise Wolverhampton was the opponent on Turf Moor and Burnley cleverly won 2-0 against the Wolves through an early own goal by Wolverhampton defender Conor Coady and a late goal by Dwight McNeil. For the first time in nine games they held another out at Burnley and The Clarets want to continue the 2-0 win at Wolverhampton at the Vitality Stadium. Although Bournemouth is the favorite for this game, they seem to be a more motivated coach at Burnley to take the full loot and that can sometimes be the deciding factor.
