Bournemouth vs Everton Prediction & Betting tips
The first game in the Premier League on Sunday is between AFC Bournemouth and Everton. With seven points, Everton started the season well, while Bournemouth has to make do with four points and a fifteenth in the Premier League.
AFC Bournemouth:
At Bournemouth they used the interland break to help some players towards their return. Eddie Howe has been missing almost half a half-line for months and also against Bourton there are ten Bournemouth players with an injury in the stands. The good news for Howe is that Lewis Cook and Lloyd Kelly are expected back this month at Bournemouth and The Cherries can currently use any reinforcement. Bournemouth is in fifteenth place in the Premier League at the time of writing and The Cherries took only four points from the first four games.
Bournemouth lost the last game before the international break. On a visit to Leicester City, The Cherries went down 3-1 and that was the second consecutive defeat for the Howe team – a week earlier, Bournemouth did not accidentally lose 1-3 to Manchester City. At Bournemouth they can use a victory against Everton, but The Cherries remarkably won only one of the last eight games at their own Vitality Stadium. Because of all the injuries, it is certainly not inconceivable that Howe will only start three defenders against Everton, including the Dutchman Nathan Aké.
Everton:
With two wins, a draw and a loss, Everton has certainly not started the new Premier League season badly. The Toffees therefore took a total of seven points and were neatly in sixth place in the Premier League prior to the fifth round. Everton only lost to Aston Villa (2-0) this season and was 3-2 too strong for competitor Wolverhampton Wanderers in the last league game. The Wolves finished one place above Everton last season, thanks to two early goals from Richarlison and Alex Iwobi, Everton was able to grab three points against Wolverhampton two weeks ago.
At Everton, of course, they want to finish in seventh place this season, and The Toffees also have equipment that should make that possible. Marco Silva has excellent players, especially in an attacking sense, with Richarlison, Moise Kean, Iwobi and Theo Walcott among others. Despite all these qualities, Everton has had a hard time with Premier League away games in recent months: The Toffees were unable to win their last five duels in a competition.
