Din. Minsk vs Slutsk Prediction & Betting tips
FC Slutsk’s success trend continues! With 13 points from the first six games, the blue-whites continue to lead the Belarusian Vysshaya League. So far, the surprise team from Belarus has only suffered a defeat against last year’s champion Dinamo Brest. Almost two weeks ago there was even a remarkable away win at Shakhtar Soligorsk, the strongest team of last season.
The next difficult hurdle is on the seventh matchday with the away game at Dinamo Minsk. As can be seen from the odds comparison on a betting basis, the home side are the favorites. A forecast on this is definitely recommended, despite the considerable shape of the guests.
FC Slutsk did not deliver the best performance recently and took a conceivably close home win against bottom of the table Belshina. Dinamo Minsk, on the other hand, had recently gained confidence with the home win over Neman Grodno and the away win with Smolevichi and will try to minimize the gap to the top of the table with three more points under the new coach.
In addition to our analysis below for the Saturday highlight in the Belarus House of Lords, further tips for the seventh match day of the Vysshaya League can be found in the betting base section International Soccer Tips.
Dinamo Minsk:
Last season, FC Dinamo Minsk missed an international right to start for the first time in seven seasons. The blue-whites were only fourth behind champion Dinamo Brest, runner-up BATE Borisov and third in the table Shakhtar Soligorsk. With 15 points behind an international starting position, the season was anything but satisfactory.
Dinamo Minsk also started the new season less favorably. The blues and whites suffered three losses in the first four season games. The catastrophic start to the season was recently somewhat offset by two wins. If Dinamo Minsk wins the third win in a row, the gap to the top of the table may be minimized.
Compared to previous years, Dinamo Minsk had not had the best home record last season. However, the home advantage remains a decisive factor for the blue and white. After an unfortunate home defeat at the start of the season, Dinamo Minsk recently scored two 2-0 home wins over Neman Grodno and Torpedo Zhodino.
Dinamo Minsk broke up with longtime coach Sergey Gurenko just two weeks ago. The vacant coaching post of the 47-year-old was taken over by the new trainer Leonid Kuchuk. After a number of coaching posts in Russia and Ukraine, Kuchuk will take over a Belarusian team for the first time since 2003.
Kuchuk’s debut as a coach made a convincing appearance for promoted Smolevichi. With a convincing offensive performance, Dinamo Minsk won the undisputed 3-1 away win. Minsk offensive man Evgeni Shikavka netted twice and thus increased his score to five points (4 goals, 1 assist).
Slutsk:
The blue and white wonder from Slutsk. Last season, the blues and whites were still threatened with relegation at the end of the season, now FC Slutsk is mixing up the Vysshaya League in Leicester City style in the young new season. The blue and white lead the league with 13 points and have so far been able to convince above all with a strong offensive.
On average, FC Slutsk has scored two goals per league game. No other team presented itself more effectively on the offensive. The defense bulwark of Shakhtar Soligorsk had recently felt how strong the league leader’s blue-and-white attack can be assessed. Slutsk gave the best defensive from the previous year two goals.
It was also the second away win in the second away game. In comparison to the harmless last away season, the point yield is quite impressive. Now the team around coach Vitali Pavlov wants to take the next important points with them, but has to gain stability on the defensive.
Last week Slutsk lost a comfortable 2-0 lead against the bottom of the Vysshaya League. Only after a dismissal at Belshina did the blue-whites succeed in the 87th minute of the goal to the scarce 3-2 home win. As on the game days before, the defensive made anything but a stable impression.
In order to master the away game in Minsk, Vitali Pavlov’s team will have to improve significantly in this regard. Otherwise, the match on matchday seven could end in a debacle, especially since the home side from the Belarusian capital were in a good mood recently.
