Duisburg vs Union Berlin Prediction & Betting tips
Duisburg – Union, two winners of the last weekend, which are still to be found in different table regions. The MSV Duisburg currently occupies 14th place with four points ahead of the relegation place, with which one can be quite satisfied with the promoter. The 1. FC Union Berlin, on the other hand, is fourth behind the season set, but still has all the chances in the ascent race.
There were 18 encounters so far, of which Union could win exactly nine with nine, whereas for Duisburg only five victories were booked. In Duisburg, the MSV has won only three successes in two draws and four defeats.
Duisburg :
The MSV Duisburg scored just one point from the first two matches at Dynamo Dresden (0-1) and against VfL Bochum (1: 1) and the Aus from the first round of the DFB Cup against 1. FC Nürnberg (1 : 2) not a good season start, but then a 2-1 success at the 1. FC Heidenheim landed. Subsequently, the MSV succeeded again and again to give a suitable answer to setbacks sooner or later. So there was after a 1: 2 against SV Darmstadt 98 a 4-0 win at Arminia Bielefeld and after a 1: 6 turn against Nuremberg was scored at FC Ingolstadt (2: 2). After that, however, Holstein Kiel (1: 3) and Fortuna Dusseldorf (1: 3), despite a decent performance, won two 3-1 defeats, and because Eintracht Braunschweig (0-0) were not won the basement duel at 1. FC Kaiserslautern. However, the zebras stopped and landed on the Betzenberg a deserved 1: 0 away win.
After Tim Albutat was able to make a short comeback in Kaiserslautern, Zlatko Janjic is the only remaining long-term loss. However, Union Enis Hajri is missing a yellow block, and his potential representative, Nico Klotz, is just as much a question mark as footmistress, as behind the veteran Branimir Bajic (back pain).
Provisional lineup: Flekken – Erat, Bomheuer, Nauber, Wolze – Fröde, Schnellhardt – Oliveira Souza, Stoppelkamp – Tashchy, Onuegbu
Union Berlin:
The 1. FC Union Berlin has an excellent start in the first round of the DFB Cup with wins at FC Ingolstadt (1: 0) and against SV Sandhausen (4: 3) and 1. FC Saarbrücken (2: 1 nV) and then scored points at 1. FC Nürnberg (2: 2). However, the Ironman lost a little bit of the lead and stayed against Arminia Bielefeld (1: 1), Fortuna Düsseldorf (2: 3), Eintracht Braunschweig (1: 1) and SV Sandhausen (0-1) without victory. With a 5-0 win over the Union, however, this goal ended up impressively, with a good series of victories at Erzgebirge Aue (2-0) and SSV Jahn Regensburg (2-0) as well as at home against SpVgg Greuther Fürth. This is now on Tuesday with a 1: 4 in the DFB Cup at Bayer Leverkusen, where Union was however far not as underprivileged as the result suggests.
Unions coach Jens Keller changed immediately to nine positions before the Leverkusen appearance and should now reverse most of the changes. It is quite possible that the victorious Elf will be back again. Atsuto Uchida is definitely not operational, while open is whether it is enough for Kristian Pedersen.
Provisional lineup: Busk – Trimmel, Leistner, Schönheim, short route – Kroos, Prömel – Gogia, Hartel, Hedlund – Polter
