Fenerbahce vs Kasimpasa Prediction & Betting tips
The next derby of two major football teams from Istanbul will take place on the 14th round of the Süper Lig between Fenerbahce and Kasimpasa. Not undeserved, Kasimpasa Istanbul are in second place after 13 games and with one win, they have the opportunity to get two points to leaders Basaksehir after Basaksehir surprisingly lost 1-0 to Sivasspor at home on Matchday. At this point, Kasimpasa still sits Galatasaray Istanbul with a point clear of the neck and could in case of a point loss Kasimpasa displace from second place.
Fenerbahce, on the other hand, still could not move from the extremely weak 15th place, and thus from the danger zone for a descent. Rather, they fell back after the last defeat against Trabzonspor again on the fourth last place. Only 13 points from 13 games can show the “yellow canaries”. The distance to a relegation zone is only a single point and Akhisarspor could get a point against Malatyaspor. It seems virtually unthinkable in Turkey that the traditional club Fenerbahce could relegate from the Süper Lig. But the financial problems were reflected accordingly negatively on the performance of the team. Anyway, “Fener” finally has to win such important derbies. A victory could at least be sure to pass Alanyaspor and make a place well. Nevertheless, we decide between Fenerbahce and Kasimpasa for a tip to good odds on the away win.
Fenerbahce:
Fenerbahce seems to have lost the victory this season unfortunately. Only three games have been won so far in the Süper Lig. There are six defeats and four draws. A shocking record. After all, they always tried in the important Derbys Derby and could always win at least here draw. They won 1-1 at home against Besiktas, a 0-0 draw against Basaksehir and a furious comeback away at Galatasaray, where they were 2-0 down to a 2-2 draw. However, Galatasaray brought Fenerbahce himself into debt due to a penalty kick. The ensuing home game against Alanyaspor was then also won by the positive momentum of the previous game 2-0, although Alanyaspor had certainly been able to keep up. Canary birds’ flight was cut short in the last game against Trabzonspor, as the match was lost 2-1, with Trabzonspor as the better team to win after missing a penalty.
Fenerbahce continues to be in crisis. Although they lost only one of their last five home games in Süper Lig and Europa League, Fenerbahce still misses the old dominance. Since the end of last month, assistant coach Erwin Koeman is now the current team boss, after Phillip Cocu had to take his hat off after losing 3-1 to Ankaragücü. For Koeman, this is a big responsibility, as he has only been working as an assistant coach since July 2014. Personnel Fenerbahce is also still battered. The injured top scorer Andre Ayew is missing in the storm. In midfield, four injured players are not available and the defensive midfielder Jailson is still red blocked. At least the defensive department is so far fully operational.
Kasimpasa:
For Kasimpasa it is currently running much better than Fenerbahce. At the start of the season, a series of four wins succeeded. Initiated by a defeat in the derby against Galatasaray, however, followed by a negative series of three defeats, followed again by two victories. A similar up and down form the last four games. The last two matches against Bursaspor and Malatyaspor were won, but before that lost against Antalyaspor and against promoted Erzurumspor succeeded only a weak 1-1 draw. Nevertheless, Kasimpasa has shown an overall consistent performance over the course of the season. Especially at home Kasimpasa is strong, because here you have won five of seven games. Away, the balance is more balanced. Here only three wins of six games and you lost in each case at Galatasaray and Trabzonspor, but only against very strong opponents.
In goal scoring Kasimpasa is doing nothing this season. Twelve goals have been scored in the last five games alone, averaging 2.4 times per game. Even in the last five away games Kasimpasa met nine times, which corresponds to an average of still 1.8 goals per away game. Largest share of this scoring has the Senegalese Mbaye Diagne largest share. In addition to Trezequet and Samuel Eduok, these three are currently one of the most successful and scoring offensive trios in the Süper Lig. It is expected that only three players will be out for Kasimpasa, all of whom will be replaced.
