Inter vs Torino Prediction & Betting tips
Inter hopes to make a fresh start after the international break and must do so against Torino, which has finally started to grab points in recent weeks. From 2017 to 2019, Inter failed to win five times in a row against the team from Turin, but last season it went without a hitch, the nerazzurri won 3-1 and 0-3.
Inter:
Inter is currently seventh in Serie A, the number two of last season has therefore not had the best series. Only one of the last eight official games has been won. They lost to Real Madrid and fellow city rivals AC Milan and played a draw against Parma and Shaktar, among others. What is most striking is the large number of counter goals that the Milanese swallow: last season it only got 36 goals in 38 league games, this season the counter is eleven after seven matches.
One player who seems to have no place is Christian Eriksen. The Dane has been playing in Milan for almost a year now, but rarely plays a full game. Since he also complains about a shortage of playing time, it seems logical that he looks for the exit in January, whether or not via a rental construction.
Torino:
Torino had a dramatic start to the season with three losses in a row, then also gave Sassuolo a 1-3 lead in the last ten minutes. This month Il Toro finally managed to book the first competition victory. Out at Genoa, Sasa Lukic already managed to score in the tenth minute, within half an hour it even became 0-2 due to an own goal from Genoa. For example, Torino managed to rest with a big lead with just one shot in the entire first half. Also in the second half, the game of both teams was not too sparkling. Torino did not get a single shot on goal, Genoa managed to fire the goal of goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu twice more, but got no further than a connection goal; 1-2.
Due to the four points that Marco Giampaolo’s team took this month, it has climbed out of the relegation zone, they are currently seventeenth with five points and a goal difference of 12-16. It’s well below the standard we saw at Torino between 2013 and 2019, when they almost always finished in the top nine and even played European once.
