Jong Ajax vs Helmond Prediction & Betting tips
Young Ajax is once again working on an excellent season. The team from Amsterdam only needs to make up a point at NEC to take over first place and the coming game with Helmond Sport on Monday-evening seems to be ideal in advance to win a new victory.
Jong Ajax :
With the current form of Young Ajax is pretty little wrong. The team from Amsterdam managed to convert six of the last eight games into a win. Fortuna Sittard is the only team that recently managed to get the formation of Michael Reiziger on his knees, but that was not even surprising. The Amsterdammers traveled to Limburg with a very young selection in the player bus. The most talented players were in fact with the first team on training camp and therefore it is not surprising that Jong Ajax in Sittard went the shortest. Jong Ajax also shared the points with FC Emmen in Drenthe, but the rest was won.
Last week, Jong Ajax finished in a spectacular game with RKC Waalwijk. The team from Amsterdam kicked off at the Mandemakers Stadium and that resulted in a 0-2 lead after nine minutes of play. Dani de Wit and Kaj Sierhuis had already found it. RKC Waalwijk scored rather quickly, but later Young Ajax easily crossed the three points (2-4). The big man on the side of the visitors was De Wit. The midfielder made three goals and with that he set his seasonal production to eight goals.
The match against the disappointing Helmond Sport offers Jong Ajax a nice chance to add a new victory to the total. In addition, the game will be played on Monday evening and that could result in a qualitatively strong team.
Helmond :
Helmond Sport seemed to have the leak just above when eight points from four games were caught, but recently the Brabanders have sank again. Equal games against NEC and FC Eindhoven and victories over Jong PSV and SC Cambuur restored confidence in the Lavans Stadium, but it has now become clear that this revival may well have been an incident. FC Volendam won with 1-4 in Helmond and last week it went wrong again in the home match against Almere City (1-2). As a result, Helmond Sport is in eighth place and that is not a position that will bring satisfaction. Jong AZ and Jong FC Utrecht are the only teams that perform worse.
So last week Almere City took the three points to Flevoland and that was pretty acidic for the hosts. Giovanni Hiwat opened the score after 65 minutes of football and Helmond Sport seemed to be heading for a victory. By the end of the game, things went completely wrong for the formation of trainer Roy Hendriksen. Dennis van der Heijden pulled the score again and the goal of Calvin Mac-Intosch in the last minute then put the 1-2 final score on the board.
A result in Amsterdam could give Helmond Sport a boost, but it will be very difficult to keep Young Ajax off the winnings. Hendriksen is struggling with a lot of injuries and therefore he will have to improvise to come up with the best eleven. Marijn van Heugten, who was sent off from the field last week, has been suspended.
