Spain vs Tunisia Prediction & Betting tips
The dress rehearsal for title candidate Spain takes place in a practice match against fellow World Cup-goer Tunisia.
Spain:
The Spaniards, world champion in 2010, are again among the favorites in this edition, although the names of Germany, Brazil and France are mentioned more often as possible winners.
If you look at Julen Lopetegui’s selection, you can only conclude that few countries have better players than the Spaniards at the upcoming World Cup. Experience can not be the problem either: Andres Iniesta, Sergio Ramos, Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets and David Silva played more than 100 international matches and were there in 2010, when Spain won the final of the Orange squad.
Spain has been unbeaten for almost two years. The last defeat dates back to June 2016, when Italy was too strong in the eighth final of the last European Championship. Qualifying for the World Cup was effortlessly completed. With nine victories and a draw, the Spaniards convincingly placed themselves as group winners in a group with Italy, Albania, Israel, Macedonia and Liechtenstein.
Yet Spain is not yet in blood form. In the last exhibition games were not won from Germany (1-1), Switzerland (1-1) and Russia (3-3).
Tunisia:
For the first time since 2006, Africa is again represented by Tunisia on a world championship. In the qualifying session, the men of Nabil Maaloul counted in the second round with Mauritania with which placement for the third round was a fact. Here Tunisia was divided into a group with Libya, Guinea and Congo-Brazzaville.
This was between Congo Brazzaville and Tunisia. The difference was made in the mutual encounters. Because Tunisia won its home game with the Congo, it actually had a draw in the away game. This allowed the North Africans to even afford a Libya.
The Tunisians will have little illusions about the upcoming World Cup, as the team is divided into a group with Belgium, England and Panama. Anyone who knows Maaloul’s selection does not see any players at first sight who can make England and Belgium difficult. Wahbi Khazri (Rennes, ex-Sunderland) is the biggest name.
