Swansea vs Everton Prediction & Betting tips
Everton is traveling to Wales this weekend. Swansea City is the opponent of the club from Liverpool. Earlier this season, they managed to turn a 0-1 deficit at Everton into a 3-1 victory and for a win, Sam Allardyce’s team will now sign again.
Swansea City:
Swansea City is having a hard time this season. The Swans have never had such a hard time since their return to the Premier League as this season, but the supporters continue to support the club from Wales. Swansea City must uphold the honor of Wales in the Premier League and only succeeds if The Swans manage to avoid relegation. With a five point lead in the relegation places, Swansea City will have to catch a few points this season, but with Carlos Carvalhal at the helm, Swansea City seems to have the right mentality to maintain.
Carvalhal saw that his team had a hard time last weekend visiting West Bromwich Albion at close last. The Swans came against West Bromwich Albion and it was a goal by Tammy Abraham, which ensured that Swansea City was able to win another point at the last minute: 1-1. The attempt by Abraham was the only Swansea City attempt between the poles against West Bromwich Albion and the balls between the poles show a problem for Swansea City this season: only 75 goal attempts of Swansea City this season actually ended up between the poles and no other Premier League-team shot between the posts less often. In short, if the team of Carvalhal would deal more efficiently with the odds, that would be an additional advantage in the degradation battle.
Everton:
Everton is a lot less bad than Swansea City. However, The Toffees will not be satisfied with this current season. Ronald Koeman was fired by The Toffees at the end of 2017 and with Sam Allardyce as new manager Everton had to take a lot of steps in the ranking. For the time being, however, Everton is in ninth place in the Premier League and many Everton supporters will not be satisfied with that. At Everton they find that they have to finish behind the top six teams from England, but that is clearly not the case this season.
The Toffees should see an eight-point gap with Burnley, and then Everton can finish seventh. Nobody, however, keeps in mind that Everton will succeed and it certainly would not be deserved. The advantage of Allardyce’s team is that Everton has already played all the difficult matches this season. Last weekend, the Merseyside Derby faced the last tricky match and at Everton they managed to keep Liverpool at a 0-0 draw. Now for The Toffees there are only matches against clubs from the right-hand row, so it may be possible for Everton to pass Leicester City on the ranking, but Leicester has only played 32 matches.
